i didn't try to install it with a dual-core. maybe it's too slow. how much ram do you have?
yeah for non-pro versions we have no control if we really need it.

that's weird. if w7/w8.1 can be installed on your computer with no delays like what you mentioned, there should be no problem with w10tp. (they're actually similar in terms of installation time)

it's even weird when you said you have reformatted the drive but the old os still worked. did you do a dual boot?
*
i dont use dual boot
yes i did reformated for windows 10 hdd i clicked format then click next
then restarted then saying just a moment......
i waited 30min still just a moment......

I mean...when you have already installed Win 8.1 try UPGRADE to Win 10.

In this case you must unzip ISO file and start setup.exe of Win 10 (in Win 8.1).

Edit:
Seems when you format drive, you lose MBR.
Try to NOT format drive with existing OS.
*
windows 8.1 using crack so cannot upgrade blacklisted

my existing OS without format also still same result

i must to do BURN DVD i think will work or not
its was use USB boot

you took too long to react :/

nvm; it's not that you must upgrade straight away. you still have 1 year plus to consider.

you can get a legit w7/8.1 key and do the upgrade later. if you wanna have a legit key with a good price, check out garage sales. if you think they are not good enough and are worried about whether the keys are genuine or not, visit shops and get a retail box. it's really as simple as that.

for w10, if you wanna have control on how windows updates are delivered to you, it's better to grab w7/8.1 pro.
*
sorry i dont want buy legit w7/8.1 key because my pc rig not much powerfull

I have Pro 32 & 64 bit versions. But i do not have place to host files bigger than 2GB. But i have the file names that you can search with google and see of anyone hosts these files.

You need to fully activated your existing windows 7 or 8 license.  Then use the iso to do an upgrade first and just skip the step to key in serial.  After the successful upgrade, your computer will connect to internet and auto activate your windows 10.  After the activation is successful, if you want to clean installation, use the reset function to wipe your computer clean.

That's what i understand from various sources from Google, correct me if I am wrong.

p.s. No, all your previous Windows key cannot be used for Windows 10 activation.

i prefer format ssd blank and fresh install windows 10 sad.gif

you can, like what horns said.  But you need to do upgrade once first and activate Windows 10.  Then only do a fresh installation from the USB key.

we know what you want.  sweat.gif  but to have a working activation for Windows 10, you need to follow what me and horns suggest.

1.  Do upgrade from existing activated Win7 or 8.
2.  Make sure the upgrade Windows 10 is activated.
3.  Do a clean install (wipe clean clean your SSD in the process) for Windows 10 again.
4.  Your Windows 10 should be auto activated now.

If you are using Pro version, it will remain Pro version, same for Home version.
*
need first upgrade win 10 direct without format once activated then activated complete
then can download ISO WIN 10 then i put DVD can format SSD destroy data empty
so need to do again windows 10 install then will auto activated ???? no need type key ????

Yes, horns already confirmed.  thumbup.gif

serial key is not needed during the installation as Microsoft is not going to issue you one for those upgrading.
