Seeing that Windows 10 free upgrade is coming soon on 29th July.

Is it okay getting Windows 10? I'm most concerned about performance issue/lags. Currently running Windows 7 Utimate fine on my laptop.

My laptop spec:
Asus X42J (2011)
i7 Q740m
2x2GB DDR3
HD5470 1GB
500GB HDD
