currently using 8.1, smooth and no problem. Is it confirmed 8.1 user can free upgrade to windows 10?

No, Win10 would be a standalone release.

did you reinstall the drivers? here everything is ok fine.

wait what you mean by upgrade? not fresh install?

Most likely he updated it from Win 7 to Win 10, which is what I did on my laptop (seamless). So far, no driver problems although some apps are "buggy".

about reserve, I got desktop and laptop, do I need to do 2 different email to made confirmation?

If you use an email for two devices, one setting from a PC will be synced to the other so expect some surprise. And at times, you won't be able to login on a device if the other is logged on.

i don't think ms will implement it like that. it's an awful choice if they do that.

I tried it on a tablet and a PC running Windows 8.1 with a single Outlook account. It really happened.

Thanks biggrin.gif

what happens if i do a clean install?

Surely, it's activation it's gone. Windows 8.1 keys won't work on it, i guess.

It is a smooth transition from 8.1 to 10. No need to reformat/ re-install. If your W8.1 key is genuine, it'll work.
