i'm having the same problem on my asus k43sm, i even updated to the latest driver twice, once directly from realtek website and once from device manager but the soundcard still can't be detected... =(
is there any universal driver available?

anyone else having problem with the sound driver in windows 10 on asus laptop?
mine showing "No audio output device is installed"
tried updating frm device manager, tried updating frm realtek website, tried installing the drivers frm asus website, tried windows update. everything just doesn't work
