15/2 - car got rear ended, sent into workshop
7/3 - finished repair, claim under OD-KFK
double checked with workshop, whether can claim loss of usage, they say can, even printed out a notice of claim for me, so, after handover the docs to insurance company, just wait for their news ?
update on previous LOU claim,
-sent over a copy of all the related docs to the insurance company's HQ in KL by courier
-the next day, shoot them another email with softcopy, directed to motor claim dept
-dept manager reply claim in process
-waited for 3 weeks, not even a call or email
-shoot another email, they say need to wait for the insured to notify them, wait for 1 more week
-in the end, they come up with an offer of 4 x rm30, i refused and propose for 7 x rm30, told them the car were in the workshop for 1 month, and the adjuster clearly written that the repair will take 7 days, request them to make it 7 x rm30, they agree, sent over an offer letter, e-payment authorization form to me, filled it, and wait for the money to be bank in to my acc
all together took 1 and half month for me to get the money
