This is what you need to know before you buy a Gopro.

Since 4 years ago we started selling the Hero 2 until today we selling Hero 4 , we repeatedly explain this to our customers, and
yet many fall for that low price and bought those grey imports Gopro units at low price, ended up having problems
with warranty claims and firmware upgrade.

We just turn them away and ask them to send back to Gopro , this is not because we don't want to do our job, it is because
all units are tracked using serial numbers during warranty claims and remember , you also need the serial number for firmware upgrade.

And then if the customer send back to Gopro , the GoPro US will have to decide to accept and fix the problem for them OR otherwise because
there is no serial number and difficult to track. Case to case basis.


And therefore always buy from an authorised dealer, whether it is from us, to make sure you get authentic warranty coverage.
