For those wondering if one-handed keyboard use is possible with an iPhone 6 Plus, here's a photo I just shot of my iPhone 6 Plus without any case. Notice that my thumb is able to reach all the way to the 'Q' key with no issues.

Haha. For me, iPhone 6 Plus only wins the iPhone 6 in terms of battery life. The additional screen size of the Plus you get when you sacrifice the handling / smaller size of the 6. I didn't actually feel the screen size difference, but perhaps this is attributed to many apps which are still not optimised for the Plus yet.

Remember to make yourself a nice cuppa to put in your thermos to bring along when queuing up for the iPhone 6 at its Malaysian launch.

You put same reso, cam, battery in iPhone 6 similar to what the 6 Plus has, I can bet you 90% of buyers will just buy the iPhone 6.

Like what happended with Antennagate of the iPhone 4. They only fixed the issue with the iPhone 4S.
So, perhaps you could wait for the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 Plus S, and maybe no more bending by then.

IMO, after using the iPhone 6 Plus for more than a week, I can say that if I use it averagely (probably around 3-3.5 hours SOT - self-counted ), I would only need to charge it about once a day.

But IIANM, the home button has been vastly improved ever since Apple added in TouchID. Have never actually heard of home-button failures / defects anymore since iPhone 5S onwards (or it could be very very rare).

Still feels like a phone to me, bro. But there are a few iPhone 6 Plus-optimized apps such as iOS Calendar which really works well utilizing the additional screen space compared to the iPhone 6 / iPhone 5S. Also IMO, the iPhone 6 Plus is still not that different than the iPhone 6 in usability just yet (with exception to the battery life).

Anyway, the iPhone 6 Plus may make the iPad Mini seem rather redundant, but I suppose you will still enjoy surfing, picture browsing, working on / referring on business documents - a LOT more on the iPad Air compared to the iPhone 6 Plus.

Just my 2 cents from a non-tablet fan. I still prefer to use a laptop anytime for proper work. I tried using the iPad as a workhorse before and it was hilariously incapable (for me needs).

Agree. But perhaps Maxis did it last year as a means to reduce the crowd due to limited stock.

Heck, they might even do it again this time since the stocks are even more limited, especially for iPhone 6 Plus. Imagine if all of us lined up, and only iPhone 6, and not Plus are available at launch day. That would be a BIG bummer!

I would predict that the situation would be far worse this year for the iPhone 6 launch - unless of course they launch it in December 2014.

Just had Nilkin Glass SP installed onto my iPhone 6 Plus by bro ping325. The edge of the Glass SP towards the Touch ID area is 'curved-in' rather than 'straight-down' like on the Glass SP (Nilkin) for iPhone 6. Looks somewhat better now.
