Haha cheers! I take back my words  notworthy.gif

Holding staff leave for deepavali for maxis is kinda cruel since I know lots of the staff celebrate deepavali...  sad.gif  I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

The iPhone 6+ Control Center is simply horrible looking. Looks like a rush job without all the usual fine Apple artwork !

The reason why Apple don't bother with RAM size is because IOS apps are written using native Code (Objective C) opposed to android, its apps are written with Java, and apps in Android are run in a virtual machine type environment, everyone knows anything running on a virtual environment needs lots of lots of ram

anyone mind to give feedback about its smoothness compared with iphone 5 when it first introduced with ios5?
*
iphone 5 is shipped with ios 6 if not mistaken? iPhone 5 don't run on iOS 5.... 4S is ship with iOS 5, from my past experience, 4S is smooth at first... but when upgrade to first few version of iOS 6 (the next version) RAM started to overload, apps crashed and closed automatically... but then.. on iPhone 5, when from iOS 6 -> 7 ... the performance is ok, not lag...On 5S, after upgraded to iOS 8.0.2, same case happened like 4S (upgrading from shipped iOS to the next generation) ...

iOS 5 didnt have notification centre right?

edited : iOS 5 has notification centre... I remember running it with my 4S ...that's where i realized it start lagging LOL ... the lagness when pulling down the notification centre...

Bro, im not quiet. Just trying to read and understand the mind game by Apple.  hmm.gif

My last post was few days ago as below:-

"I sent and email to Teresa & Nat from Apple an hour ago and now, the article:-
http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2014/10/13...This-Month.html

Can't be accessed at this moment.

I received a call back within 30 minutes the moment I sent out the email from Apple spokesman whom stated this clearly

"The list is not the final version and Apple has rights to ammend the lists from time to time and some of the countries are not listed due to local government authorities and regulatory restrictions which Apple is still trying to work it out internally.""

For me, upgrading to iOS 8 is a must for the apps family sharing and continuity. Pretty sure the hiccups will be sorted out by Apple within a firmware update or two..

Thats the main purpose, making your old iphones laggy so thaf you would upgrade it by buying their latest model. Simply business strategy. How can Apple make money when you are still using your old iphones? brows.gif

Actually if an imported item is not exempted from existing Sales Tax, GST will have very little impact on the end consumer pricing, in fact in some cases it may even be in lower. But of course, very few companies will admit to this and will take the opportunity to increase prices for the sake of increasing their profit.
