IAhOS: Personally I agree in part with you, in part I disagree. It's true that PPC has some silly irritants which is so inherent in a PPC device. WM5 did improve some shortcomings of WM2003SE, but there are still stuff which I hoped could be better/simpler. But at the end of the day, this IS PPC and sometimes ppl like me are prepared to 'suffer' lil bit of inconvenience for alot of other benefits, like software availability and better customisation. As for your grouses, there are actually ways to so-called improve the problems you face, either by just getting mor familiar with your device, or to research for more 3rd party apps. So as others said, perhaps you havent used your device to the fullest yet. I used all Symbian OS before, S40, 60,70, UIQ, and agree that it's simpler in some ways, but can be quite limited in many ways. In the end, in boils down to individual preference la. Even if you may not have fully used the Mini yet, but if you feel you wont have much future or love for it then dumped it for sth else you like lor. Most impt we must be happy with our device.
PaiNai: Welcome to da club man. Sounds like a good deal there. |

Sorry for the double post, but I think it's appropriate to seperate this from the previous post.
I met this guy yesterday, who is a regular guy selling brand new/used gadgets on Lelong. That guy is kinda like a dealer who gives dealer's price for ANYTHING, from Nokia to O2 to Dopod. Best of all, he does repair for nearly all devices too! He charges pretty cheap, and fast too. I found out he knows how to change Mini housing too, for only RM 30. He will meet up at a McDonald's and fix it in front of you. Damn super. SE P series phones oso he can fix. Next week I going see him to get it changed. So if anyone here wants new/used gadgets, or need help repairing stuff, I can recommend to this guy. This post has been edited by avantgarde84: Oct 20 2006, 12:11 PM |

Yup seriously, that guy is like super sifu man. I was so impressed by that guy. He is a no engineer, just after Form 6, believe it? But his skills are good. So again, anyone needs repair for any gadget, or wants good prices, I can recommend.

My stylus is the one with the pen wan. Brand is PDA stylus. Sounds ciplak, but I'm using it and quite satisfied with it. And the side got ridges, which make it easier to pull the stylus out. Not like the normal wan which need to use fingernail to pull out.
Selling Trade I bought for one for RM35. If you want, can sell for RM33? How about it? One for Mr. Jedi, and one for Mr. PaiNai. This post has been edited by Lucifer_Light: Oct 20 2006, 10:56 PM |

Martin Fields screen protector is worth it.. but not sure about stylus..
I bought a cheapo RM10 SP and scratches all over after 3 weeks... With Martin Fields, only few scratches... less than 3 visible after 2 months... not to mention easier to glide on the surface... |

Frankly, like most of my frens ask me, got big difference between MF and other brands? Perhaps MF is more resistant to scratches, but worth the extra money?
