1. The waterproof case looks different
To the left is the old model, received many times, the new right.
Difference lies in the curve of the case, the new one is bigger.
Also, with the new screw black and not silver.
(now as of today also have fake with white screw)







The battery is not same
The battery charger for SJ4000 can not be used for fake version.
The batteries included with this camera is just a tad different. The 'new battery' is to use the old camera but not the other. This is due to the thickness. However, when used in the 'old cameras have this clearance, making contact with the battery will be lost by shaking and the camera fails:
