Sideload the MIUI v5 camera apk. Trust me, any time better than CM camera or Google Camera. Unfortunately, there's no latest MIUI camera apk yet. The version currently available on XDA has no HDR or manual focus support.

Updated to 38R and rooted yesterday.
I find the performance much better - don't need smooth scrolling patch any more. Also, battery life seems a lot better than 33R and kernel franco v16. Touch screen bug fixed. Can type or swipe much faster than 33R. For camera, I find close-up now much sharper than 33R but low light still sucks. That one reserve for my Lumia 1020. Low light close up also not very good. Xiaomi Mi3 much better despite an having an older Sony sensor. |
