QUOTE(tahfeikei @ Sep 24 2014, 09:14 AM) hi all, will it be a problem for me to use this phone if i don't know a single thing about rooting and custom roms? , if there was a problem with the software , that is. tia tfk No extraordinary knowledge needed to use OPO. Just play it as a normal Android phone. Then after a while, if you're willing to go for more, you can just read steps and guides from forum. From my point of view, although the phone is not available to the world like Samsung phones, but the dedicated developers and users community as a whole are BIG, so if you got into trouble, there's always pakcik Google to help

QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Sep 25 2014, 05:05 PM) Yeah i will have those moments as well. Best to do, reboot. Haha. I use ART on Nexus 5 and Dalvik on Oneplus cuz i want to use Xposed Framework. Well my phone setup, CM11S+Franco Kernel R20 Undervolted about -75mV, Greenify with Xposed addition, Xposed Unbounced module, Google Play Services MODIFIED to Deny "Keep Awake" and "Wake Up" permission, and i have set up a profile specifically for overriding the settings depending on my location(example: Work, Save Battery, Driving, Home, etc) and change them accordingly. I also have Auto Brightness tweaked to lower values but I use Manual toggle (status bar slider ftw!) all the time so its does not matter much but it helps at times. So many to tweak! I'm assuming no one here uses Google Now for the sake of battery, right? 1 question: Say we receive new CM update, or we flash new kernel (same kernel, just different build), will these setup especially Unbounced, undervolt got wiped out?

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Sep 25 2014, 05:40 PM) You can try PlayStore "Lux Lite" I use Google Now. QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Sep 25 2014, 05:42 PM) Click on the auto brightness icon and there should be a gear/setting icon. Click on that and hit adjust. Its not that much once you do it. The words made it longer. I use Google Now. Haha. I am not sacrificing the features for battery. Haha. I see. I will observe these few days using current setting then try to apply yours on weekend. I disabled Google Now coz afraid will eat battery kaw² lol. QUOTE(xxdesire @ Sep 25 2014, 05:47 PM) After you flash update, flash custom kernel. Unbounce is xposed module. Thanks for this!

QUOTE(Chyan @ Sep 28 2014, 09:49 PM) My standby time for 7 hours with wifi on, sync on and a few notifications had just sipped 3% battery. Lol. Same like mine, but at the end of the day, the phone just shut down by itself when the percentage is around 10-14%. Any idea why?

QUOTE(INGfusion @ Sep 28 2014, 10:59 PM) 1. Let your OnePlus One completely run out of power, until it shuts down. 2. Plug in your OnePlus One to charge continuously, uninterrupted for at least 6 hours. 3. Repeat step 1 and step 2 for three consecutive charge cycles and your OnePlus One should reach 100% when fully charged. One final suggestion, it might be best to do step 2 overnight to conveniently allow your phone to charge completely uninterrupted. Hope this helps! Please let us know after your issue is still persist. Ah I see, need calibration eh. I'm going to try this tomorrow, will get back to you guys about this thanks!

I can conclude that my average standby is 24-27 hours with SOT of 5 hours daily. Gesture OFF, double tap to wake ON, brightness AUTO, bluetooth 24/7, NFC ON, auto-sync ON, Google Now ON.
Mix of Wifi & 3G between office & home. Umobile coverage in my factory is a bit messy, some spot got full bar, some spot got bad signal lol.
Some tweaks I did:
Franco kernel R19: undervolt to 725mv Xposed Unbounce: wakelocks set to 3600ms.
I don't think I will tweak anymore other than trying new kernel release. To have 1 day standby time and still have 10-15% juice before you go to sleep is good enough for me. Sometimes I force myself to stay up to finish the battery but the damn thing won't go down much, unless I play games.
Kesimpulannya, beli lah OPO.

The main reason I bought 64gb version is solely for this: RAW image support. I just thought of doing OT today but now that I know 38R is out...

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Oct 8 2014, 01:15 PM) So which apps to edit like the one you posted above? Snapseed? People normally use Lightroom or Photoshop to do the editing. Not sure about phone apps though. I tried few apps to open DNG files but too laggy and bad UI. Not gonna keep them lol. I would suggest to enable 'Save to RAW' feature only for photos you think worth the edit. Definitely not for FB or Instagram upload haha. Otherwise, just rely on JPG. The lag to save in RAW is unbearable (at least to me..).
