Not a fan of miui, so similar to iOS (I dislike all apps thrown to the home screen, I know this can use 3rd parties launcher), so much theme around (heavy), make the phone lag a bit during transition, and like you said, consumption heavy.

The wake up function is cool but i cant seem to get the 2x tap to off the screen.

I can conclude that my average standby is 24-27 hours with SOT of 5 hours daily.
Gesture OFF, double tap to wake ON, brightness AUTO, bluetooth 24/7, NFC ON, auto-sync ON, Google Now ON.

Mix of Wifi & 3G between office & home. Umobile coverage in my factory is a bit messy, some spot got full bar, some spot got bad signal lol.

Some tweaks I did:

Franco kernel R19: undervolt to 725mv
Xposed Unbounce: wakelocks set to 3600ms.

I don't think I will tweak anymore other than trying new kernel release. To have 1 day standby time and still have 10-15% juice before you go to sleep is good enough for me. Sometimes I force myself to stay up to finish the battery but the damn thing won't go down much, unless I play games.

Kesimpulannya, beli lah OPO.

after using this phone for a week i can say my most annoying thing about is the damn speakers.

when i game widescreen mode, my hands cover up the speakers and the sounds is muffled lol. whose bright idea was it to make the speakers there.

One week after using this phone, I can say "I should've gotten a case", the sandstone texture has smoothen out abit and I can actually feel it

thinking of getting the China set, from DirectD, two years warranty (should be reliable type of warranty since it's DirectD right?)

the software if they flash to CM11S should be IDENTICAL with the international set? I read up that OTA will be as normal as intl version? LTE won't be affected as long as I don't use it in the US, right?

Is there any factory defects of the China set here? I know the factory is the same etc but just wanna make sure. Don't quite like the back design because got no CYANOGEN writing.. but case can cover it, I guess..

Hello.. I just bought my opo from local store.. There is an update XNPH25R which returned an error every time I tried to apply the update. The only thing I can do is to reboot the phone. Anybody can help me on how to fix it? I'm really a newbie.. Appreciate if there is a step by step instruction... Thanks.

if we bought the intl version, we'd still need to root it in order to use root-only apps right? For China ver the retailer would've already rooted for us when they flash to CM11S?

How you guys manage to achieve the great battery life as shown in the previous post? More than a day of standby time with more than 5 hours of SOT? Is it Franco kernel that does the job? I find my device drain a bit faster than usual when I'm not using it. E.g. I full charged my phone and unplugged at 11pm with data / wifi turned off then the other day 7am when I woke up the phone battery left 94% +-. Is this normal?

My phone on latest cyanogen mode without modding / flash to other kernel or whatsoever.
