Did you enable fastcharge on Franco?
By default if charge via pc/laptop, it will only pull 500mah, but with fastcharge enabled, it will treat it as charging from the wall/charger, but ofc, even pc usb port got limit.

The wake up function is cool but i cant seem to get the 2x tap to off the screen.
Please advise.

yes, i have enable the double tap to sleep but actually i am not quite
sure where to tap on screen to put the phone on sleeping mode.

dunno why you guys kept getting the system UI error. Dont think its cuz of the kernel. I have been using custom kernels since 4 years ago and none will be causing system UI error. its not related imo~

No phones can give both long hours of SOT and standby time if gaming is involved. In fact if u play non-stop for few hours battery will be fully drained.

Only can acheive long hours if u use non intensive software. If gaming is involved advisable to get a seperate device or powerbank.

are you on franco kernel? it may relate to the faulty charging binary or animation bug which appear when the device is turn off to charge.

this issue is only present in franco kernel. for now the only fix would been waiting the dev to correct it. but the dev is not really care about it as he stated before the phone is still charging properly even it keep bootloop. so it is not an important or serious problem which need to fix.

the other fix would be revert to stock or using other kernel.

this issue can be avoid by charging the phone only when it power on.

Here some quick test for the camera from the new firmware

I throw in FV5 camera VS stock cam Jpg VS Jpg converted RAW into the comparison

+Both tested in ISO 400
+FV-5 cam in in P mode
+RAW converted directly to JPG without any post processing

-FV-5 image very underexposed where our stock camera expose properly despite same ISO set (Probably the fast shutter speed happened in FV-5)
-The live view when RAW enable in stock camera is very very lag. Focus also slow. Unbearable for me.
-However, the RAW (DNG) do wonders! Look at the sharpness!

i used 25R, 33R, 38R every single one is the same

Try reflashing the rom / kernel. Sometimes bad flashes can have this kind of problems. Battery drain when update also can be caused by bad flashes. Don't know how to describe what a bad flash is lol. It just happens sometimes even after wiping and doing everything properly. Been flashing roms since HTC desire days and whenever I encounter problems like the odd battery drain or the phone is warmer than usual, a reflash usually solves the problem for me.
