That 's just silly. They're selling their console lower than the actual cost price. IINM, Xbox 360 Premium cost around USD 525 (doesn't include manufacturing cost), and they're selling it at USD 400. IIRC, Microsoft have to sell 5 original games to get back what they lost, and will only gain profit on the 6th game the gamers buy.

So, what do they gain by purposely making the console hackable to increase the sales? They get nothing out of it.

Probably they're going to include it in the next Dashboard update which will be sometime around November.
