My diet is pretty versatile. But i'll tell you i eat every 3-4 hours. And if i'm awake for some reason like exams, or night shifts in the hospital or OT, i eat every 4 hours i'm awake to preserve muscle mass. What is important is not just the amount of food you eat. It's also when you eat it. Nutrient timing is extremely important. Let's say you need 3000 calories a day, but some people skip breakfast, then think they can cram in 3000 calories in 2 big ass meals which is just wrong. You get what i'm saying? Your body can only absorb so much nutrients at one time, eating more than that just changes the rest to fat. Hope that helps.

On a note, don't be afraid to exceed even 60 grams of protein post workout. If you have just veggies and lots of rice, it won't help at all, period. You need a lot of protein, red, meat, milk, etc.
