Well, how often has he given it a go? I can't be 100% sure but I think the Liverpool players were already in/around the box marking the most obvious of threats.

But yes, they were sitting quite deep towards the end, but I guess the pressure of winning a derby game at home made them nervous.

Rather than saying Lambert is rated higher than Balotelli, perhaps it would be fair to say Balotelli didn't really perform as well as he should when he was on the pitch.
