Sorry for opening a thread like this but I really need to know this right now. I have an Asus O!Play mini media player, will a 3TB Seagate external 3.5" drive will useable with it? I've only tried 2TB so far. I've found conflicting reports online about 3TB so figured I would ask it here as I'm on my way to get one now.
The only issues I've found with the Asus player is that it doesn't work very well with the more recent WD drives. Sometimes it just cannot detect it, even if its just 2TB. That's why I'm getting a Seagate.

Mine only has one USB port. Mini player la. Haha.
Windows restriction hmm... But I doubt the OS in the player itself is windows right?

Yeah NTFS definitely. So if I partition it into two the player won't have any issues with it?

Ok just got home with the Seagate Expansion 3TB. It works! No need to partition or anything.
