just a suggestion:
install v9, zip the directory folder (usually C:\program files\windows media player\ ). do not uninstrall it.
then patch it with v10.
when all are done, unzip the v9 & assign a designated location.
now u hav 2 ver.
not sure this will work, i tried this trick b4 on other softwares, some work & some dont.
just that your registry will be quite messy if u do it this way.
