My comp runs 24/7. It doesnt really affect my electricity bill Unless

I am doing a lot of stress testing 10-20 hours a day on my overclocks which sometimes takes up nearly 20-25 days.. then the bill will be up by RM100-150.

Theres some issue with their vrm im delivering exact voltage
Its affecting all da intel mobos
Their mobo tends to overvolt quite a bit
Z170,z270,x299

In dis day and age seriously unacceptable. So yeah try to forgo da inner RGB in ya.. lol

I expect samething in their amd lineup as well.

Vrm/fets tech hasnt change much since z87..hence y u see a similar board design in amd4 boards compared to z270 etc..

Msi ballin now with asus. Exact voltage.. good design etc
Only thing their net support in forums etc & feedback is non-existant so bios support etc slow.

Hey come on even sli now has been downplayed to 2 cards now..
So guessing its limitation to driver and overhead needed by cpu etc to handle the task in spreading da frames etc and then combining everything back ..
Gpus too fast nowadays for cpu etc to catchup.

They shpuld have done a 1900x vs 7820x. Rm2k+ vs 2.5k plus

Since threadripper consist of da upper 5% binned ryzen cpu..
Ppl who buy 1700-1800x with highend board and rams now looking kindda stupid since all da 4.1-4.2ghz capable cpu gone to threadripper.

As for temps.. its as hot as skylake-x. Agaik tjmac arnd 75c and its using somekind off offset -22c .. so any reviews out there say 5xc.. add 22 to get the actual temps

Oh yeah but also remember current reviews their cooling solution only covering 70-80% of da heatsink. So will be interesting when threaripper version of aio reviews comes out.

Rm4799 1950x vs rm4.2-4.3k 7900x bonkers. Might as well wait and buy 7920x arnd rm 5k.

So far this is my take on da new chipset/cpu from both side

X299 intel
1. X299 with 7740x killed da
7700k with highend mobo z270 market
2. 7820x is da key cpu being rm 1k more but offering double core count then 7700/7740x..

X399 AMD
1. Love that amd software. Gaming preset etc.. Need to readup on that NUMA thingy
2. Cost atm is more expensive build cause. Need to get a quad certified amd ram+ new cooler that covers TR properly

So now it depends on da board cost of x399 as well should be cheaper.

7820x vs 1900x
Intel 28 pcie lane to gpu ..+ 4x dmi uplink to pch 24x

Vs

Amd 64... 44 to gpu.. 20 to pch..

Wish theres was benchmarks for content creators showing stressed pch (multiple nvme sdd moving 1tb data)
Would like to see da dmi 3.0 saturated throttling point vs pure speed by amd diff.

my experience with..
16gb density kits bdie only good for ram speed. not much on timings. also they are very difficult to test and require long hours and multiple runs to confirm stability. too many false stable. also the vdimm scaling is terrible.

or was it kingston last year already. think it was some nrw gen phison controller.

since 8x pcie 4.0= 16x pcie 3.0???
