I think yea caffeine does mingle with your mind, so that your body will "think" it has more energy.. But i guess in long tern, its not good. |

Take milk or tuna before working out.
Then 5 mins before workouts, take coffee. Warm-hot. I've tried that after reading that article, hehehe, it worked. |

the caffiene stimulates your metabolism aswell as your cns, it makes you feel more energetic but its not actually giving you extra energy.
also there have been medical reports showing coffee to have a detrimental effect on bones. |

Coffee for "supplementation" preworkout is good, as most of the energy boosters sold by bodybuilding supplement companies have caffeine as their main component BUT if you're taking exclusively coffee and no carbs, no protein, no fat, you're asking for trouble.

Well, sometimes I take coffee to motivate myself to workout when I'm sleepy or down. Cannot deny the "kick" it gives. About extra energy, definitely NO.
You want energy?. Get some chocolate. But dont indulge too much or you will get fat from it OT: Is taking protein better before or after workout? I usually take carbs before workout and protein (eggs./ tuna) after workout. This post has been edited by ShenWoo: Sep 2 2006, 09:57 PM |

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Sep 3 2006, 07:53 PM) Lol. Good luck with diabetes. I get a kick out of hearing people think the "Light" in Coke means it's healthier. 100ML = 0.3 calorie = diabetes imposible.QUOTE(cocklea @ Sep 3 2006, 07:55 PM) I have read the article about aspartame before, i think Wikipedia has it, it says there's no concrete prove saying that aspatame have bad side effect. Nevermind though, I guess i'm a laboratory rat for the studies of aspartame. |

But, I probably I'll nag at them. Light doesn't mean good.. It is worse than normal Coke. Heck, both are bad for health. What's worst, 1.5L a day Prepare for kidney failure...
