As per title.. I notice south facing home will be slightly more pricier than other.
I know Chinese fend shui recommend south facing house, but why ?
Apart from that, what do you guys think about north facing house? No good?

the reason last time in china was house that faces north will get cold winds from siberia, so they prefer south. in malaysia , it doesnt matter. but best if north or south so that the afternoon hot sun does not hit the house walls making it warm.

From experience in fungshui for decades, this is very depends on geographical and location actually. In Malaysia facing KLCC is the best, if you're in the states then facing Wall St is the best.

I don't give free fungshui consultation, because my father told me if you're good in something, don't do it for free.

I searched before. Yup. Feng Shui origins from China. And most emperors and goverment officials last time got their house facing South due to cold winds from North. In Malaysia, we are super hot, so getting a house avoiding West Sun is the best.

why worry, another condo gonna block the sun soon anyway. rclxub.gif

just avoid evening sun (west) ... after cooking your house from 11am until 6pm, you don't want to come back to a nice hot sofa !!

Each individual have their own direction (according to fengshui basis on your DOB,etc) so if you believe in this then should consult the master before deciding which direction.

However for the sake of your properties value, go for South as it will boost your prices a little compared to your opposite neighbour.

Agree with ronn boss.

For me, I am fine as long as not facing West. I generally prefer South or North.

If can, I choose South, if no, I am fine to go for North. Sometimes, view is more important for me. I would skip South if it is facing cemetery or busy highways.

I also notice more ppl prefer South facing.

I don't know why people want to believe these kind of calculation which has no basis. Even Newton/Einstein their theories need to be proven and can be proven. What is the proof that the number derived from this calculation has big impact to the fengshui ?

Talking about that, I also don't believe in the Chinese Medicine practised by most Chinese, which I called it Chinese medicine practise in go ka ki ( kaki lima ).

I have a friend who studied Chinese Medicine for many years who almost enrolled himself into Hei Loong Cheang ( 黑龙江)Chinese medicine studies and he said he is more into Western medicine. When we talk, he uses terms like blood pressure, hormones, cholesterol, etc etc.
