Wish to know where do you buy these? Are sellers like Buy Silver Malaysia trust worthy? Maybank seem to have only Kijang

Correct Maybank sells exclusively Kijang.

Commemorative coins are different kettle of fish vs bullion.
Collectable coins are separate from bullion stack, purely for enjoyment and happiness  rclxm9.gif

Commemorative 1oz gold coin could cost RM12k
Bullion 1oz gold coin on the other hand may cost RM7.8k

Haven't purchased Buy Silver Malaysia. Can't comment personally.

Purchased from following stores, no issues
1) www.apmex.com
2) littlecoinshop.com.au - purchased Lunar Mouse here
3) thecoincompany.com.au - purchased Lunar OX here

europabullion.com (purchase not yet completed)

Lunar OX was purchased from:-
https://thecoincompany.com.au/australian-lu...gh-relief-coin/

Buying from abroad can be complicated.
Esp. if Malaysian customs decides to tax your non-taxable gold hahaha.
Yes eagerly awaiting sweat.gif

Collecting High Relief Proof of the Lunar Series III
Coin is thicker and design has nice depth.

I'm hoping to collect all 12 coins.

Tqvm for the reply, newbie wanting to collect some coin for shiok sendiri. So it's safe to buy from overseas? Are they insured cos it's quite a lot of money, any special precaution before buying. I see paying with credit cost quite a bit more than wire, do they accept Wise/Instarem? Thanks again

Hello guys. Any idea where can buy Gold Kangaroo Coin?
Last time buy from UOB. But seems like they are not taking in new stock anymore. It all depends if any customer sell back.
Thanks

Try https://mybulliontrade.com/sell-your-gold-silver/

They are located at Starling Mall, Damansara Uptown.
Their prices are pretty competitive and cash on delivery.
*
They used to be at The Curve hidden behind a restaurant, their price not as competitive as Silver Bullion but personalised service

I’ve not tried silver bullion before, where are they located ?
Do they buy old jewellery for trade in to new gold bars ?

I previously went to MBT only for selling off used jewellery, their rates are better than the retail gold shops. For bars and coins, I get it from bullionstar nowadays.

Silver Bullion is at Kelana Centre Point small unassuming office, don't know whether they buy, I bought didn't sell. Offices in JB and PG too

My only advice in 2002/3 to me friends was: Gold will outperform your FD in the long term. That's all.
So it has proved to be as gold returned 11.5% CAGR over the last 21 years in MYR terms. Much better than FD.
*
Your advice still stands at today's prices?

Silver is relatively cheap, so it's gonna be quite some bars to lug home. Good things is thief won't be able to move much value 😙

Managed to buy some SLV 👍

Try Public Gold or Tomei. Easier access than Kijang Emas and still reliable.

Tomei cut throat
I find Silverbullion slightly cheaper than Mybullion

gold will rise further.
but i think silver will outperform gold for 2025.
GSR or gold silver ratio has dropped from a high of 105 to 87.
in the long history, it used to be in the range 40-60.

however, investing in silver is less attractive:
. silver bullions are bulky & heavy.
. silver bullions carry a spread of abut 10% while coins are often at >30%.

in rm terms, gold & silver price shud continue to ride high since bank negara has v little gold as reserves, only declining $.

Bro, refer Y2020 gold forum photos, they're like small Royce chocolate.  Buy first, the safe-keeping ideas will come naturally.

However, can also be a custom made 500 grams 'guan bao' 999 gold ornament for home executive table. Visitors think it's plastic.

Did you mean 'yuan bao' 😊

anyone has experience buying/selling with this place?

https://www.buysilvermalaysia.com/

it's confirmed - there is no silver bars available right now.

can "preorder for end oct".

10oz silver bars RM2.5-2.6K.

1kg bar about RM7.5K.

SILVER $50.43/oz; RM6.854/g.

GOLD.. i see it trading sideways, consolidating for a few weeks before running up again.
*
Bought once from them when they were at The Curve, Malay husband and Chinese wife team. Very friendly and willing to share knowledge but price a little higher than Silver Bullion. They are now at Starling. Need to call/WA them for the latest price cos their web price is not the latest

several of us here buy from them, OK!

i hear Silver Bullion is moving from Kelana jaya to Phileo Damansara soon.
the jewelry shops... very normal they price with "workmanship" even if is just imported.

generally, their price for 999.9 gold is spot+ 8-12% vs bullion traders spot+ 3-3.5%.
*
High time they move, the place doesn't look like million ringgit biz premise 😄
