QUOTE(xander2k8 @ Jan 27 2024, 09:58 PM) Yes it should but however it should depends on the actual value of the goods Just get those issued by government with a face value. those with face value are coins with a legal tender amount.Hence smaller gold coins should not be affected but those larger pieces of jewellery might be affected particularly those diamond rings with high clarity |

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Feb 22 2024, 10:11 AM) Our Kijang Emas stocks were purchased from the Austrian Government. The Austrian Mint did all the coins for us. one of the few mints that does 999.9 purity. this can only be achieved under certain manufacturing conditions. They also mint the Philharmonic Gold Bullion. |

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Feb 22 2024, 01:16 PM) All coins issued by BNM will always be ordered from Kilang Wang in Shah Alam. There were many issues in the past that were minted by foreign mints. Singapore Mint did quite a few for us. |

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Mar 1 2024, 11:27 AM) Please share your experience with more details. It has been very good for me thus far. I remembered those days. it was coins, bullions and wafers. it was cheap then.nobody wanted it. silver was usd7-8.i invested in year 2002. Moved ALL my FD monies into gold. Those days, no ETFs, gold accounts, etc. Only gold bullions. There were loads of bullions around then. Even the 10 oz Roo was available! Nowadays you don't see this anymore. It was USD320 p oz then. Kijangs were approx RM1050 p oz. That was 21 years ago. Now gold is $2050 and RM10,000. In RM terms, it has performed approx 11.5% CAGR over 21 years! ![]() largest gold coin is this. 100kg. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vienna_Philha...lb)%20of%20gold. Kijang emas physical or passbook account is probably the best if you want to invest in gold.
