This few days, I’ve seen people posting about having over RM10k+, RM20k+ invested in their TNGO Emas account.

I’ll just stay quiet and watch it all unfold.

Gold rising from $2,000 to $4,000 means its value has increased by 100%.

In other words, the value of central banks’ gold reserves has effectively doubled.

In the short term, this surge might push their reserves close to their target thresholds. (I guess ?)

The price may consolidate for a while — possibly for several months or even years — unless gold prices decline back toward their preferred threshold levels.

Just sharing my buying pattern for reference.

About 95% of my gold purchases are from Shopee, mostly during sales days using vouchers.

I usually buy from these sellers/brands:
Masdora, Habib, MJ Jewellery, Poh Kong, Tomei, PG Jewel, Aurora Italia, GB Gold, Wing Sing Goldsmith, Seng Fong Jewellery.

What I normally buy:

Gold bars: 0.5g / 1g / 2.5g / 5g

Gold beans: 0.5g / 1g

999 gold pendants (below 1g)

Purchase frequency is around 1–3 orders per month, mainly when there are promos or sales.

Price target: I usually aim for below RM580 per gram(recent month) after vouchers/discounts.
