Guys I need suggestions on players on who to change for my current team, haven't played a game with it yet, but I need cheap good CB/LB/CDM/CM suggestions

Guys is there any setting or formation that needs to be done so that ur ST always make a run to an open pass? Usually if my CAM gets the ball, my ST just sits there doing nothing, not even making a run. Usually in u-tube videos i keep seeing the ST all making runs for them. Current ST using - Costa, Sturridge, Lacazette, Vargas.
