Oh so widely read 1. Apparently your wide reading didn't educate you that countries operate differently. I laugh that you place Malaysia alongside Hong Kong & top ranking countries. This is bolehland. Ask those countries if they simply woke up and implemented such extreme measures based on speculation. Look, I'm all for precautions & all, just that proper measures and warnings need to be issued out way ahead of time so both health workers and travellers alike can be prepared and liable for any mistakes on their part.

Ahh so Malaysia can just continue being complacent as we have been doing all along? These countries had such measures in place when they discovered suspected cases of cos they r taking no chances.

Im not asking for a complete ban but we should at least make sure. Now Japan has even developed a 24 hour ebola testing kit, which would make detection faster.

Dude, take a chill pill. Thousands more Malaysians very easily die from road accidents ALONE per year than confirmed Ebola deaths in countries currently being ravaged. Have you any idea the issues or costs that would arise from properly housing and care of ALL passengers from suspected countries for a month? How about yet to be suspect locations? The legal and psychological issues from isolated/quarantined people, including travelling Malaysians. Mass country-wide panic? Spend some time outside the box and see the whole picture before suggesting such unimplementable (yes, not a real word but sufficient) plans.
Thanks for posting this.

I'm aware of that and wouldn't wish such slow painful death on anyone. Ebola, ALS, HIV/AIDS, Cancer, CAA, Schizophrenia, Asthma, Diabetes, Polio. Heck, even the common cold are incurables. Read my other posts for my opinions.
The end is and has always been the present.
