As a matter of fact, he's failed to established himself there and didn't even play a huge role in the national squad. Maybe he will be sold come the winter transfer window?

i prefer Luis when we going on the offensive. azpi for more disciplined defensive duties.
against Lisbon, i think we going to need Luis. can't afford to draw or lose this UCL game.

Not sure whether it's a pure mind game by Mou or he really make a gamble to start unfit Costa ahead of Remy Ishak for Lisbon trip. If we lose this game by all means we ain't out just yet coz now all teams still at 1 point

Thus far it looks like Costa will be the 1st choice when it comes to BPL matches, though for this weekend I would not be surprise if King DD get a nod.

dont la use DD vs arsenal. his current perfomance not up to bpl standard imo. better use remy if costa unavailable.

if play costa vs sporting, better use our strongest first xi while we're at it.

i concur, but do Remy has the capacity to handle the pressure of big match?

knowing Mou, last minute maybe Costa will pass the fitness test and start instead tongue.gif

actually i think costa's injury is not as serious anymore. but mourinho maybe playing mind games to try avoid Costa playing too much on international games so he won't risk a real serious injury. but we still need him in our games to score. so just keep saying its a gamble to play him and hope international games won't feature him that much. tongue.gif

lmao, i also wondered why you guys call him remy ishak... lololol

anyways, if wasnt for the Schalke result, Remy would start, but i think we are more desperate to get our first CL win this time around so Costa might start. If he does, hopefully the match is won early so he can be replaced. Costa Starts - JM

And sorry but no Drog start vs Arsenal. I know its one of his fav opponents, but i don't see it being more than a 2nd half cameo. He's still has some way to go before he can start a PL game.

Anyway, doesn't Drogba will be out for two weeks? He'll be unavailable for Arsenal.

Costa needs to play this CL game. we need to secure our 3 points, considering we were sorta given an easy group.

hopefully a 2nd half cameo would also scare the piss out of Wenger.. but if his ankle injury doesn't permit him to even play, then guess Drogba will see Arsenal the 2nd time around in the season. a near full fit Chelsea will already have Arsenal trembling at our current level.
