Astro WLT HD on channel 310 this 6th Oct.

We are moving toward HD now. Believe there is very limited SD source, so NJOI will eventually converted to HD as the current decoders for NJOI are HD enabled.

Previously, all tv programs were in black & white and now all are in coloured.
SD will be phased out once HD is no longer a premium as at now. UHD or 4K will be the next premium services Astro may offer later.
Most of the programs are HD enabled or going to be HD soon, and just that Ass-throw has the bandwidth limitation and costs to do so.

Astro customer call line is having some technical issues now and unable to get through.

I guess AOD will cease with TVB Jade on board...

Astro's Jade pack for channels 326, 327 & 328 will open to all for preview from 1st to 15th May. Chargeable at RM15.90 per month thereafter.

More packs more revenue for Astro. Channel 315 is also ala-carte channel, not included in any pack.

Astro wants to trap you to subscribe to these packs later.
Enjoy the silent free preview when you can.

Thanks for the info sharing. I am thinking why there is a delay of 5 mins in Astro schedule since it is not really live from HK.

Many are posting negative comments on Astro FB. Another fiasco like its sister company?

There are android tv box apk that offers similar channels at very attractive pricing.
More will be shifted to this android box if Assthrow pisses them off.

Call or email them by giving 1 month notice.
You need to follow up with their CS to ensure they receive your notification and note down their name and time during your follow up.

TvN at Assthrow is 1 hour late compared to Hyytv... shortchanged again!!!

Olympic Rio 2016 is free on HyppTV, 7 HD channels. Assthrow screws us and need to pay!!!!

Assthrow is practising double standard by giving free preview for 4 channels for 2 months period. In 2 weeks time, Setanta, Cricket channels and AOD plus are given free preview for 2 months. So, what compensation for existing paying subscribers who are entitled for these channels for this 2 months? Assthrow is making us to pay and yet give free for non-paying subscribers?
Assthrow is getting more subscribers in its latest annual reports. As of its first quarter ended April 30, 2016, the company reported an arpu of RM99, and served 69% of Malaysia’s households. An increase of 80,300 households reported for the quarter, making the cumulative customer base of 4.9 million households. Coupled with its impressive advertisement revenue, I don't see the justification the increase in subscription fee after all. Pay higher dividends to its shareholders as a way to please its Indian boss, and we, as customers need to be Assthrow "water fish"?
Please remove those Assthrow Best, Assthrow First and Assthrow Box Office from Assthrow platform. They are hogging in the satellite bandwidth and not offering more HD channels despite getting more capacity from Measat 3B.
