Why my PVR get this error(literally recording not complete please re-record  and recording interrupted because the pvr has been shut down or something)
I recorded the programme almost til end.

Your case most likely requires a PVR replacement.
You may want to call Assthrow CS to expedite. Please get a case number from them.

Assthrow is paying additional money for satellite bandwidth for Olympics and BeIn this month. I believe is Assthrow will only launch ASSP4 HD after Olympics games. Also, more people will focus on Olympics channels now rather than ASSP4HD. Assthrow will not launch new channels if there is no benefits to its income, ie, advertising revenue.

Those who are using multi-room at different locations shouldn't upgrade their second/third decoder to PVR and connecting it to internet. Astro can trace the locations of all connected PVRs.

Jamesleetech - Yup, I meant pressing the red button when viewing the Olympics chs. Sorry for the confusion, thx again.

No free Olympics in SG ..... just wait for the free preview of all chs on Starhub and Singtel from tomorrow till the next few days, as part of National Day celebrations. Cheers.

Singapore manages to get live Olympics games screened.

As what I observe according to your transponder scan results, you are receiving below average satellite signal strength from Measat 3a satellite (number 13 until 18, frequency 12xxx MHz) as well as other satellites. By right, you should receive all transponder frequencies with the signal strength of above 80%. Anything below than that, either you will easily lose signal when it rains compared if your signal is 80% and above, or pixelation or sudden black screen will occur.

In this case, satellite dish alignment will be the solution, if you can reach to your satellite dish easily (DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK). Otherwise, tell Astro to arrange a technician to your premise to solve the issue for you. The Technical Service Fees will be as below:

If your Astro subscription is RM100 or below per month, Technical Service Fee of RM53 will be imposed for the Astro technical team to visit your premises each time.
If your Astro subscription is RM100 and above per month, Astro call this as "premium customer", therefore NO Technical Service Fee, meaning that they can settle your technical related problems for you, free of charge.
*
You may increase your subscription to RM100 and above then the next day you call for technical service.
After they came to solve your issues, you may want to downgrade to below RM100 subscription. The downgrading fee with GST still less than RM53.

From what I see, it is unlikely la... Most likely it will be in HD quality because that channel is not free and you got to pay additional fees for that. Plus with HD service somemore. Astro want to earn lo...

If Boo-ing is in HD, then its channel no would be 434 right? Why 414?

ASTRO called me offering free upgrade of decoder with recording function. Decoder is free, installation is RM150. Was told need another cable, but I don't want pull another cable as it involves drilling the wall.

So alternative is the RM53 SATCR device. Anyone can share is there any disadvantage of using SATCR? Thanks.

Would there be a 24 months contract upon decoder upgrading?
