Bro Vinmeen/ is a compiled channel with most programming from another south Indian channel and In house variety in HD.Its basically a flop.However it is NOT free its added into another pack and sold here ! SunTv and Sun Music are in HD but not on asstro cos then Vinmeen HD will die! Singtel meant business but singaporeans/Indians may not appreciate or value asstro's In House cos they are simply BORING. I wonder whatever happened to the plan to carry mediacorp channels on astro,if that happens asstro wl lose its local market further here.Vasantham alone wl kill the relevance of all astro In House Indian channels

From what I see astro is still arrogant !The ADD On game now! I just downgraded further and soon I will cut off! Now the CC wants to know why I downgrade, told her I do not wish to pay for repeated and recycled content! Astrro channel offerings VS the Repeats,asstro is a FLOP and not worth Hundreds at all

Well, what a boring addition! Where are the awaited channels! People have lost interest and many hv given up assto, game almost over!

Looks like u may hv to call CS but dont waste yr money just send an email.My problem was I kept keying my new IC when my record at asstro was old IC and after a few attempts I had to call CS to redo the registration,only then I knew abt my old IC number at their end

I think all a/c are on 2 year contract,we hv to take it or leave it

We need some sacrifice here,I have unsubscribed to Movie and sports,if many follow suit assto wl be almost dead.We can cripple them the power is with us! The most greedy company in this region,which does not even bother to give a Toll free line for customers yet is awarded Putra Awards every year! Infact they are already feeling the heat many hv cut their packs to just basic,and dont expect new channels except maybe home cooked so that can sell to singapore

So silly of assto to go satelite, cabletv wld hv been much bettter,now all their earnings wl be spent just to curb theft! I am proud of those guys who can crack all these,keep it up! If you are cheap nobody wants to crack but if yr are so bloody expensive and yr contents are nothing great this is what happens! India DTH with almost 550 channels plus premium content is only RM50 per month but a assto offering with limited content is almost RM100 over! Good times almost over for assto,now their majority subscribers hv moved to below rm100

If yr TV is NOT dolby Digital In (most tv's are not) u hv to set stereo, DD settings is only for DD Tv sets and AVR connected. Asstro is far behind technology and a organisation which does not care for its customers , cos many other satelite boxes have an Auto option.

No matter what they update they are still most backward in terms of box technology! They still use MPEG 2 ,bad PQ, and the box lacks so many other super features,namely Auto audio mode , sound decorders,setting 1st or second audio option as default and many more.As u said they talk too much!
