It's been a long time since Astro introduced new channels.

i think they should free their bandwidth by replacing their astro first and astro best service into OD. they are wasting their bandwidth to open those channels which less people watching

Even if I were to totally terminate my Ass-tro subscription, will 30% or more subscribers walk out together with me, hand-in-hand terminating all their subscriptions? Unfortunately, mass termination IS the only way to force Ass-tro to improve BUT I don't expect that to happen loh! There are Worker's Unions and whatever unions that work together as a group to protect its members benefits. This is what is happening for the Junior Doctors Strike in England. Astro Subscribers Union? Nah... won't happen as most Ass-tro subscribers won't cooperate in the first place. Need someone to start this Ass-tro Subscribers Union? Me? Nope, not me... in fact no one will start it because of so many various valid reasons.

Now, back to Jade pack. Will anyone (except maybe the filthy rich folks) pay xxxxxxtra RM 15.90 for this Jade Pack. Only you can answer yourself.

I see. Do you know why Astro charge that expensive for Jade pack? Mainly is because they want to earn more profit. Last time, Astro will increase any packages price as they like once every year within 2011 until 2014. It is believed that this angered many customers, so Astro came out a new strategy. That is, launch new channels in a package and charge expensively, so that only the minorities of customers that interested to subscribe the newly introduced will tend to complain of overpriced package. You can also refer this Jade pack like the Golf Channel, Setanta Sports, etc. Last time just because Astro wants to earn more profit, whenever Astro announces price hike, all customers will be affected. So this new strategy will help Astro to "cover" the profit as much as possible. I would say, Astro is not being loyal to customers. They monopolised the Malaysian pay tv market and they can do whatever they like to gain more endless profits. Money is everything to Astro, and they put your Astro bill payment as No. 1 priority. Late payment will result in account suspension. So next time, if you wonder why Astro charge this and charge that, you'll now know why.

yea what i can see is hypptv channel lk mnet can be appear from astro but astro channel wont appear in hypptv.
exclude: astro supersport

Request for termination. The officer said I need to settle the last bill. Proceed with payment via call using my credit card. I was asked the reason for termination. Sarcastically replied that there are too many repeats and overpriced packages. Account will be disconnected in 30 days. Now I have extra RM100+/- to deposit to my ASB account every month.
