Going to swimming/play water with family and friends. It's organized by my relative's church. Just so happens my period will come during the week of event and on the day itself. personally, i prefer take medicine but never take it before. do i go to the pharmacy or go to the dr to get it? Have read that tampons can be used during swimming but not sure it will be uncomfortable or not. i never try it before. what do you girls think? would appreciate some advice from you all.

Norcolut medicine can be bought from pharmacies. Need pharmacist to prescribe.
However, meds usually will mess up the body natural hormones. Tampon is quite easy to use but maybe you might want to test it put first before using it for your coming trip. You can get the more expensive ones with applicator, only few brands available in KL, Tampax is one of them.
