indeed sad that the camera is so bad  cry.gif  my n4 can last about 24 hours with 3 hours of SOT, full wifi and sync. Quite okay imo as n4 only packing a small 2100 mAh battery
*
totally depends one usage style and apps in background sync, etc though.

Open 3G (H+) full day with some background syncs like fb, twitter cannot get me through 3 hours SOT. Maximum 2 hours +

true. i had greenify installed tho, not sure it actually helps.
*
greenify pro + xposed that greenifies the push notification apps (GCM) does help a lot, but the 3G itself (the radio) is draining too much still. Nexus 4 problem

Hows the battery life? thinking of falshing but too lazy to wipe data  doh.gif
*
I think it is quite okay, slightly better than kitkat i would say. I never had good battery with N4 because I seldom use wifi. With mixed usage of 3G + EDGE I get max 2 hours + of SOT which is okay for a nexus 4.

QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Oct 26 2014, 05:43 PM)
Wait for final version bah, November the 3rd. Not long more. #android L
*
Cannot guarantee that on 3rd Nov Google will release N4 one. What I know is they will release update for wifi-only tablets first then the newer cell devices (N5, N7 2013 LTE) then only the rest.

Does B15 still have the malicious on battery stat and still show the device have 3220mah battery? Can you remove guest on B15?

Im still on B11 with Hells kernel to.
*
You mean miscellaneous? Occasionally will still have and it is displayed as 2100mAh now. It doesn't matter actually because itself is not a drain, it means your phone drain more than it estimated. If have miscellaneous drain, then you have to check your other apps.

I think there is no need to remove guest because by default the guest account is not created. You need to manually "add guest" to make a guest account. if not it will not be activated.

Yup miscellaneous... So the new built only solve Bluetooth calling and face unlock.I just stick with current rom then.

One more...does that built have the ester egg lollipop? The one that you tape on android version.
*
Yup b15 has the correct lollipop easter egg. And I feel b15 smoother than the older ones.

Flashed the latest adreno GPU drivers + unleashed a7 kernel, the whole device is buttery smooth.

Can I dirty flash to B15 from B10?Adreno GPU drives flash separately?
*
No, B15 is a high rebase, MUST clean flash. Adreno GPU flash separately in another zip. Check the thread OP first link, the downloads all there

QUOTE(leon898 @ Oct 27 2014, 03:21 PM)
now b15? daym fast. i've try  b14 before. lags like hell..revert back to b11. might want to try b15 tonight tongue.gif
*
B14 has a weird driver thats why laggy. Better clean flash and go b15. Using B15 (N6 based) + Unleashed A7 kernel + latest adreno GPU driver + journalling turned off (search in thread) makes my N4 flying.

QUOTE(leon898 @ Oct 27 2014, 05:15 PM)
Wait, forgot to ask. Which one is good? N6 based or N5 based?
*
N6 based is better IMO, even recommended from the dev (skyko) and the kernel dev (defconoi). N6 one has all the latest lollipop apps, more stable and feels faster.

B15 still in testing... I think I wait a little. My internet quota almost finish...so need flash GPU drivers then no lag.Unleashed A7 kernel got double tap to wake?Flash kernel together with rom?
*
Well if you follow the thread, you'd know that there will never be any "final" build because they keep releasing with new improvements.

From what I see, they regard b15 as the milestone version which is very stable.. Now b15.1 is out that already contain the new adreno GPU drivers. Epic smooth. I think somehow this build can possibly be smoother than official build from google.

Unleashed always have double tap to wake.

Not so sure about image file.Might be on 3rd Nov might be not.I hope Google release the image file early for flash holic.

[attachmentid=4189454]

My SOT on lollipop with full 3G usage.
*
That is very good for me already, I don't think mine can last 2 hours with full 3G usage. Only with mixed 2G 3G can make it.

Will flash it then since your review looks good.Just don't want ended with buggy rom like B14.Will try the kernel also.

No xpose model for lollipop & art so can't use inteligi. To lazy to switch manually. That SOT only with Greenify. Now gonna try under clock & undervolting.
*
Oh ya, I see.. ya cannot use full function of greenify without xposed, that explains.

I do undervolt but I like my phone with super fluid performance so I didn't underclock. haha so I can't complain about battery now.

You guys N4 got warm feeling at the back after flash 15.1S???
Mine like warm je either paired with stock or a7 unleashed, and SOT for full wifi only 2.5 hours.
Previously on KK + franco can simply go up to 4 hours SOT.

Now flashing 15.5S.
*
Mine feels the same like KK (for temperature), as long as I use 3G for a prolonged time it will be warm but not until the extent I will worry.

I think some kernel tweaking is necessary to reach higher SOT. I like silky smooth performance so I didn't bother about battery anymore, just set on the stock unleashed kernel settings with -75 UV.

Currently on B15.1P + Unleashed A7.Just like you guys say super smooth.Tested 15.5 with Hell Core kernel...heck it's super buggy.

Seems like this built or kernel eats battery fast.I do feel it slight more warmer then when on B10 with hells. No tweats done yet though. Gonna give it a full day try 1st before start tweaking.

I got this red blinking. How do you get rid off it?
*
Red light the the LED indicator that shows your phone is heated up, you can disable it by using trickster mod, it is kernel setting

QUOTE(tongaz86 @ Oct 30 2014, 12:55 AM)
Mine is B15.1P
*
15.1P is based on N5 Preview last time, while 15.1S is based on N6 dump.
Both are okay but most ppl prefer S version.

Though 16S is out now :S

Wooot already B16  blink.gif
What's the changelog?
*
B16 has newer dumps from N7, which has the build number of LNX07M (B10 was LPX___, then B15 was LRX___)

Apparently even though alphabetically, N is older than R but in lollipop it is not this way. N build is newer.

Though you can hold your horses, B17 is coming out today with new proprietary files such as wifi driver, bluetooth etc.

The devs are super active haha

Update: B17 is live! (This is S version)

B17 What goes bump in the night
LNX07-M
removed a lot of the built in google apps that are now not any newer then what is available on the play store
updated all the proprietary files
reverted back to the n5's preview audio but kept the n6's extra ones
Wifi bypass setup is back

B17 is up already? Oh well, reflash again then sweat.gif  seems like dirty flash while upgrading still helps, so far system is running stable smile.gif
*
note that all these mainstream versions (like B16S, B17) are all S version (shamu) which is ported from Nexus 6 dumps.

If you are coming from B15P / B15.5P (Nexus 5 Preview) version, you should clean flash if you want to upgrade to B16S or B17S.

S version are usually released earlier than P version.

Yup I agree with above, the latest B22S L port with N6 + AOSP source is smooth and stable enough to be a daily driver.

No prob here on B22s (Frank 2.0). Try install the latest google camera app or use other camera app to test. if all like that maybe need a clean flash or the front camera hardware got prob..

I heard r3, r4 and r5 tag just being added to Nexus 4 sources, might be having some other bugs to fix compared to other models.

It will come, just maybe slightly slower. Lord Duarte promised we will get it last time, and if we are not getting it, they won't even bother uploading the sources e.g. like Galaxy nexus case.
