You mean sideloading the OTA files? Or flashing the factory stock image?

Either way, sideloading requires "clean" / "near clean" state of phone whereby flashing factory stock image will bring it to its "cleanest" state.

So in the future, you will receive future update provided that your phone is still clean (strictly no modifications to system / kernel / etc). Unlocked bootloader is fine, rooted should be fine as well (not sure since Lollipop's changes)

Gallery should be replaced by Photos app, at least that's my case.

I used to have a shortcut in my nova launcher desktop, when swiped up, leads to gallery. Now it opens Photo instead even tho I hasn't changed or updated the swipe up shortcut yet.

My tasker seems wonky after the Lollipop update. Sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn't.

I scheduled to silent (no vibration) my phone everyday 11.30pm to 6.30am, but sometimes it won't even silent after it reaches the time specified.

Can't seem to find the pattern of the causes

It does Trigger the silent mode (priority mode) without issues sometimes. But when it goes wonky, it'll stay at "all mode" after passing the criteria time.

anyone's on stock rom for Nexus 4 and encountering random screen-wake during lockscreen? (i.e. screen just light itselfs up randomly every few minutes)

Noticed this recently when I was curious why so many accident touches, when phone's in my pocket (with my hand in the pocket too)

Got notification when it usually happens (or even older notifications which i hasn't look at it).

How to disable this?

Good thing I'm not the only one, bad thing is I want to get this fixed

Screen on is fine, but accidental touch isn't..

my partner's nexus 4 faces this problem, auto swift off for unknown reason, and cannot turn on. usually have to vol down + power to turn it on

Haha, after years and years, I'm still on Stock ROM on my Nexus 4 except with only rooted (didn't root anymore now) and unlocked bootloader
