bank (mbb,RHB or CIMB) & PM are ASNB agents. it's their job to issue passbook.

only that they "not keen" to open new account for non-bumi (fixed pricing fund) because the hassle they need to endure & in the end no units available 

from what I heard, ASNB also the same case

Anyway I only managed to get rm500 ASW & rm100 ASM 

got some too at CIMb today.

ASN-3 is selling quite fast these days compare few years back. Last time I heard around 500mil units sold. Now I think already reach 600mil units Mark (out from 1bil units fund size). Last year, only around 200mil ASN3 units are subscribe 

There was some discussion earlier on moving to UT where one can get higher returns @ 10+ % than ASX.

I mentioned about a report by EPF stating most people who used EPF money to invest in UT did not do well in UT. Thus, don't jump into UT blindly.

The link earlier is related to a study on UT performance which concurs with my belief that it is not all green grass in UT land.

Well, yape, this applies to me..

In my monthly allocation, i will put 70-80% of my savings into the fixed price while the remaining 20-30% in variable price..

With higher allocation in fixed price unit trust, at least i feel more comfortable.. The predictable income could at least cover my loss(if happen) to my variable unit trust..

For variable unit trust, it would be better to be in monthly basis compared to one lump sum.. Only my belief..

Not my friend.the counter cashier told me.she said someone is selling more than RM100k

This morning I was at the RHB BANK.I asked her to try luck for ASM,ASW & AS1M.Suddenly she asked me how much I want ASM coz she said look like someone is selling & the amount is very big amount which is more than RM100k.that is y I managed to get some.

6am is TOO LATE... last time I went around 5am, already have 10 people waiting there. Ask the 1st person what time he came. Guess what, 4am!!! 

hey guys, for non bumis can we buy units for ASW, ASM, AS1M via websites such as CIMB/RHB online? Coz I tried for these websites, it says fully subscribed...but for M2U some forumer said can pulak? hmmm....

Also, I managed to open new book for AS1M today...but only rm 100 though

Ha ha. Good one!

I will do that for the new ASX (if any) to discourage others from buying it. Ha.

P/S  Not that I have RM99999999999 to put in there. 

i got reasonable catch too. keep trying, dont give up so fast.

i was at cimb to withdraw some money for  SC FD, and surprised to get quite a catch of ASW.
