Say your latest balance in your ASB is RM500,000. Consider 2 scenarios.
AA buy RM50K on 24 Oct
BB buy RM50K on 31 Oct
Oct dividend will be the same for the above 2 cases as the dividend is based on the minimum Oct balance (i.e., RM500,000 and not RM550,000).
You can put the RM50K somewhere to earn some dividends for a few days first before using it for ASB.
