my pocket bocor that day, lost RM1000, accidentally gave extra 1 stack to the bank staff on the day i belanja them KFC.
Realised it only at 7.30pm when i counted my balance, quickly called him, no answer, SMS no reply......... till late nite received a call saying no no extra on his side.

I was shocked to get that answer despite me already preempted it with a SMS saying i will review their CCTV monday morning. finally the answer i wanted came on Sunday, saved me the risk of making an enemy in bank....sigh.... if RM100 i would let go la, but RM 1k.

relationship as good as before. my sms at 7.30pm was premeditated, "boleh check CCTV kan?, i jatuh duit kat bank" , where got threatening? only meant to remind him, cctv will show. i guess he was in a difficult situation, took 36 hours to get back with a positive reply. we met next day, pretended like nothing happened. i bought my ASX usual on 10, 11,13, and today 14.


you could have got some at 11+am. i ran out of cash at 12.7k.

No, what i meant was more difficult to get the units, not the procedure.
The tellers know you, they wont check Ic, can even allow you to buy
using spouse and kids' books.

IC and old passbook. Above 18 must go sign and thumbprint.

if it is a fixed price like ASM, ASW, or AS1M, i dont think it is wrong to say your capital is preserved.

You buy at RM1.00 and the price is always at RM1.00 whenever you wanna sell, how can you lose you capital?

I cannot foresee how u can lose capital in Amanah Saham fixed price types.
Anytime you wanna withdraw money, people are queing up to pay for your units.

Shares, other Unit trusts, yes you can lose, can even lose all your capital esp in shares. i have lost many times
like in Sri Hartamas, etc......

yes, can even compare to FD like u mentioned there.
