The unexpected debt is new debt recently..

can i withdraw RM20k or half only ?
the market value now is very low is it ? withdraw now seems stupid..
however month end will come the credti card interest = =
*
u can withdraw any amount u want. just make sure u have min balance kept (rm100), if not acc closed nod.gif

I so sorry, but u invested when the price is high (also KLCI on high side). now have some "market correction".. but it's not over yet. I think still long way to go cry.gif

I think better clear off your CC debt 1st hmm.gif

So if I am keeping my ASG for 3-4 years, it is good choice (better than fd?)?
*
depend on your entry price & current price (when u want to sell).

example is entry price 1.05 & current price 1.20, means u profit

if entry price 1.18 & current price 1.13 means u loss

partly correct. you forget the dividend pay.
if dividend yearly ~6%, and he accumulate for at least 5 years, he already gain.
*
yeah, totally forgot about dividend. but according to some sifu, it's also counted into NAV thus we need to calculate entry price & selling price only hmm.gif rclxub.gif

Can we check the statement online? Using maybank to buy as1m few year ago. Never update the book since then
*
Nope, ASNB don't have online for viewing balance. Only Passbook based.

even u don't update your passbook for years, the amount is still there.. it's won't become dormant account like bank account.. if u don't know where u kept the passbook, then u just apply for new one. need to pay some fee. Veli simple biggrin.gif

Usually the market rate will drop after given the dividen ??
*
yup, it's just like share ex-dividend price icon_rolleyes.gif

that's why some sifu said, it into NAV..

So it wants us do not withdraw right after the dividen out is it ?
what is the greatest time to withdraw oh ?
*
logically speaking if u withdraw just before dividend or just after dividend is the same only. ASNB would adjust the NAV.. the best time to withdraw is when the price is highest.. but now is not good time if your entry price is higher..

CONGRATULATIONS!

Look at it from this angle : 600*0.065 = RM39 per year.

For that effort, you will be getting 11 cts/day for the rest of your life! Wah! Worth the effort!

Cheerio.
*
didn't think from that angle tongue.gif rclxms.gif

Sifu,
Would like to ask the dividen given by fixed fund is similiar to share? Dividend only given base on the balance unit you have that instant?
E.g. 1000 unit brought on 1/1/2013, another 1000 unit brought on 1/6/2014. Dividend date = 1/7/2014. Total dividend 6% x 2000 unit? Means date of purchase is not crucial? Will it pro-rate the dividend calculation?
*
nope, not similar to share.. if share u buy before ex-date can get full dividend..

ASx fund (fixed price). they would pro-rated the dividend.

example if divvy on Aug. u buy in Jan. So Feb until Aug only (the amount u bought on Jan)...

My strategy is at least see some rebound before buying some for CA. Though it may go down later on, this is a better strategy than keep on buying when it is going down.  biggrin.gif

well different people have different strategy..
but your strategy quite unique la.. buy when have some rebound even when there's risk of drop again later notworthy.gif

Hi peeps,
I already have my ASB1 max (by loan).
And I have some other cash that I want to park.
Which one is better to park my money into:  hmm.gif
a) ASB2

or

b) AS1M
Thanks  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
ASB2 performance we don't know yet because it's new.. even the 1st year dividend is not out yet.. 10bil units won't be sold out so soon

while AS1M performance we know.. already got some dividend history..

so I would say, better invest in AS1M for now.. if ASB2 do give higher dividend, then u just withdraw & deposit at ASB2 icon_rolleyes.gif
