5s is really a good size. Light and powerful.
But old man like me for bad eyesight. I need big screen. Else I would agree with you.

My wife account is under my name. Supplementary line. I'm a maxis one card member. Can I still go midnight launch but buy iPhone under her name? She can't be my supplement if it's a contract, that's fine. I just wonder if I can still go to the launch.

Actually if u wanna know malaysian price, just look at Hong Kong price.
Very similar to Malaysia price. I did survey on the 5S.

Anyway, based on Hong Kong's pricing, Malaysia price will likely be:

iPhone 6
16gb - RM2299
64gb - RM2699
128gb - RM3099

iPhone 6+
16gb - RM2699
64gb - RM3099
128gb - RM3399

if its that pricing then great... in us and japan the pricing is about 2000-2100 MYR... it's cheaper than last year 5S ...hopefully iphone 6 will be cheaper

Japan 6+ still got stock XD

Please stop spreading misinformation. I already clarified in my previous post.

I'll say again for the last time—Any iPhones bought at full price (aka "device-only") directly from Apple (aka not from AT&T/Verizon/T-Mobile/Best Buy/etc. stores) will be unlocked. This is was the case with the 5 and 5S, and should hold true for this year too.

Apple may not advertise it as unlocked, but according to MANY people that bought them it IS unlocked. My previous post has examples where people just took out the preloaded AT&T/Verizon/T-Mobile SIMs out of the iPhone they bought and inserted a new one. (Some of these are even international SIMs, and not domestic US ones.)

the only thing i worry about is only the warranty problem LOL

Eh. From the CA apple store it's 679USD, so equivalent to 2.1k MYR. Sure cheaper than SG set
Or am I missing something?

I think it works if you also choose AT&T too but I might be wrong. Don't quote me on this. The general consensus and the safest bet is "T-mobile, device only, fullprice".

The Apple saleslady I was talking to was giving me the eye, with a smirk and let out "You did your research". I mean who am I kidding, they know I'm not a US Citizen and they perfectly know I'm bringing it overseas lol. So yeah, it's a rather backhanded approach to buying an unlocked iPhone in the Apple Stores in the US. They are completely aware about it but they will advertise as otherwise and will keep on saying it's locked.

Let's move on people.

looks like it works fine for you until now, no claiming warranty right? Wonder will apple re-seller here accept it or not... will they close 1 eye and let the warranty go thru? XD
