i think the unifi lite is referring to the ADSL2+ speed up to 10 mbps? not a fiber. right now if the exchange/cabinet is nearby your location it can hit easily 20 mbps++

I'm currently using stock TM modem Riger DB120WL on 4mbps. usinng MYIPTV apk to view streaming video sometimes the video is not watchable, delay, buffering long time to open the video after switching to other channel. No other device using that much bandwitdh at that time. But using other modem like Innatech 7100 from TM, it is much better.

can suggest which modem for the upgrade? i think riger modem from tm is the worst. Innatech 7100 from tm is better. but I'm thinking better modem other than TM

but my dad's kampung area on 4mbps, is watchable the MYIPTV. I'm bringing the android box this recent holidays. same package 4mbps, and a hell lot of user some more at that time, but still MYIPTV is watchable and switching between channel is considerably fast (below 10 seconds). his TM modem is from Innactech 7100. I even tried MYIPTV and HypptV, both able to watch at the same time.

on my case watching MYIPTV then with light surfing/facebook + video, the MYIPTV video begin to freeze. my modem is riger (i think a tplink based modem).

yeah, is it due to bandwidth balancing? when myiptv video freeze, i try speed test, about 3mbps++ speed, which means that the apps really dont use the available bandwitdh from my 4mbps line ?

haha I'm thinking the same way too except adding extra RM 10 for 8mbps and longer contract period like 4-5 years??

thinking of dumping my 4mb @ RM88 to someone else. I need the upload speed, smart home/cctv struggling working at 512k

transfer to other house or other person. currently I'm setting up my smart home using those Z-Wave and online monitoring for CCTV which inclusive my NAS (storage server). those need big upload bandwidth. Now struggling working at 512k

I'm close to cancel my account anytime soon. now using DG Infinite 150. 4G signal is strong here. average DL 55-60 Mbps UL 18- 20 Mbps. free call some more. no turning back. very happy now

Torrent capped at 64k, but some said it can be used with VPN or any direct download service. Since I'm not in torrenting, so it does not matter to me.

my goal is to make sure my smart home monitoring / cctv working flawlessly with better upload speed. It hard to work at 512k
