Person A is being employed by a car workshop. his job is to repair car. the workshop doesn't provide any tools like screwdriver and wrench. Person A is expected to buy the tools by himself without any allowance/money given.

what do u think of the workshop?
anyone can share their experience like working in pc shops/auto workshop?

I dont think you not given any tools..

I believe the tools need to be shared among them (workers)... and not for personal use....

If want to use by 1 person need to buy....

or else use the shared tools....

if cheap tools, it is ok.
but expensive tools, better inform the company first,
else look for anohter company,

if no tools, wonder they got budget for your pay or not?

Person A is asked to do the work but he doesn't have any tools. so, his superior will be angry cos he saw Person A not diong anything. besides that, there's no tools for sharing.

Err...Is this some sort of a hypothetical situation?A workshop with no tools supplied? No tools sharing?

I"m afraid this subforum is for discussing about real careers, such as your 2nd question. I hope you or anyone else for that matter does not harp on too much on the question, or I'll consider it a spam and close the thread. Unless of course, it's a real problem. Hmm...

okay like this...

in the company i work with, the juniors/new guys are not given any tools...

but they are expect to do work..

they still can do work coz their seniors have the tools..

its a matter of asking, and not giving excuses of not having tools to do work..
