Went to UOB to take up their Xmas FD promo of 4.2% for 12 month. (Saw the poster : 12-month CNY promo 4.1% FD)
Got a cute recycle bag and one towel (after I asked). The leng chai trying very hard to sell me 2 non-guaranteed 5-7%p.a. 15-20yr combo plans (RetireGuard plan, Horizon plan), but failed to convince me.  He even offer me 6.9%p.a. 3-month FD if sign up either one of the above 2 combo plan. If anyone of you are interested can visit their branch to see if it fits you. Attached thumbnail(s)

Anyone try the AmBank 36 month 4.5% FD promo yet?
From the TnC, can't seems to find the interest frequency, e.g. monthly or half-annually. Not sure if it is a good move to commit for 3 year straight...  |
