I saw that Mach increased their 12-month FD rate to 3.85% p.a. for 12 months. If i'm not mistaken this should be one of the highest in Malaysia atm.

Also, I follow this website called RinggitPlus.com (same people who are having the HSBC card promo) and it looks like they are also giving you a chance to win a gold bar if you apply through them.

Deposited RM10k and seeing how it goes. Anyone have any experience to share? Thanks.

I've applied for it. Really good rate. 4.10% p.a. with no CASA or Step-Up hidden it seems.

The Mediklinn Steriliser is guaranteed and worth RM599. Just have to be the first 200 customer ^^

Maybe the response was so good that the OCBC branches couldn't cope? =/ Probably underestimated how good the promo actually was lolz.

Yeah it's a guaranteed gift. Limited to the first 200 placements through RinggitPlus.com. No harm to give it a try in my opinion. First of all, it's a really good rate. Second of all, you can always take out your money later on. It's not like you're gonna lose anything really hahah.
