Striker Nikola Zigic has confirmed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger made an enquiry regarding his availability in the transfer window.

My point still stands regardless. With Arsenal it's always about the single philosophy, making them unable to adapt to opponents who go all out to break their rhythm. It's not a bad philosophy nevertheless, on it's day it can more than dismantle the best teams in Europe. Problem is does Arsenal have the players they need to practice it? That seems to be the main issue plaguing Arsenal in recent years, let's see what Sánchez is capable of. I do think he's suited to Arsenal, perhaps he needs more time to gel with the rest of the team.
