QUOTE(itekderp @ Sep 6 2014, 12:05 AM) Nowhere, probably. nice font.Fast break by Giroud, who is holding the ball up just outside the opponent box. He looks around, no support so he passes the ball back to Ramsey. Ramsey passes to Özil who took a quick touch under pressure and backheels to Arteta...who slides it to the wing onto the feet of an incoming Sanchez. Sanchez attempts a cross into the box for the waiting Giroud, who takes a touch with his head and it's back to Ramsey, who... Repeat x1000 Remind me a lot of one particular mengyou fan. |

QUOTE(CeDhhVss @ Sep 6 2014, 06:40 AM) Striker Nikola Zigic has confirmed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger made an enquiry regarding his availability in the transfer window. We should definitely sign him if we ever play in the NBA.Wenger explored several options throughout the window, with Olivier Giroud's injury adding a sense of urgency to the French boss' search. Having extensively scoured the market, Arsenal eventually managed to bring in Danny Welbeck from Manchester United just before the transfer deadline. Former Birmingham City striker Zigic, who is currently a free agent, says he was flattered by Arsenal’s interest and would have loved to make the move. "Everything that you saw in the press was true," IBTimes UK. "My agent was talking with Arsenal but they finally opted for another player. "We talked with them until the last few days of the market. "I am very happy because Arsenal had me on their list. I would have liked it. "Big teams always consider several alternatives before signing one." |

![]() Theo on his recovery and comeback QUOTE Theo Walcott hopes to be back on the pitch in "a matter of weeks" and believes he will be stronger and quicker than ever. The Arsenal forward has been sidelined since January 4 after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee towards the end of the FA Cup third-round victory over Tottenham. Walcott took the setback in his stride and has worked hard throughout his rehabilitation to build up his strength. Far from feeling down, the 25-year-old remains philosophical about his enforced absence. "Life's been very good actually," Walcott told Arsenal.com. "I know it's a bit different to say that, and of course injuries always get people down, but the way I look at it, is you can't change the fact that you're injured. "You've just got to look forward to the rehab and work as hard as you can. There have been a lot of long days in rehab and being in over summer when there weren’t any other players at the training ground, but a positive for me is that I’ve been able to spend a lot of time with my family, because during a normal season, we're away and in hotels for long periods of time. "The time has seemed to fly by and there have been other things going on in my life, like a new baby boy, which makes time go quickly. It's a cliche but it's true. "I knew how long the rehab would be, it was always going to be around nine months. But I approached it that I had to enjoy it, and that’s what I have done, it's given me the opportunity to work on my legs and build up the muscle strength. If anything, I hope to come back stronger and quicker." Walcott may feature for Arsenal Under-21s before returning to the first-team squad - and he will have plenty of people to thank for getting him back on the pitch. "We’re not setting specific comeback matches, but I’m just pleased it’s hopefully now only a matter of weeks before I’ll be back playing," he said. "There may be one or two under-21s matches I’ll be involved in first. I’m just looking forward to getting out there and playing again. "Everyone has been so good with me - the Arsenal medical team, the Arsenal fans, and of course my family. Everyone has worked so hard and have been so supportive towards me. And now I'm coming to the end of my rehab, I just can't thank everyone enough." SOS CILI Hopefully he'll come sooner rather than later. Even best if he could come in before the December period where everyone is tired. Come back stronger, theo! This post has been edited by funnyTONE: Sep 10 2014, 10:48 AM |

I wouldn't worry too much about Ramsey.
Today he said this himself... QUOTE "I'll be alright - the pitch was very hard. There's no give in it so I rolled my ankle a bit," said Ramsey. sosThis is the supposed video showing him having a knock due to the poor pitch condition. at 0:03 onwards This post has been edited by funnyTONE: Sep 11 2014, 01:17 PM |

Here's a scary thought..... Tottenham might have to use Emirates stadium as home ground for a full season.
QUOTE Tottenham Hotspur are yet to openly discount the prospect of a highly controversial one-year ground share at the home of their local rivals Arsenal, sources have told ESPN. karingeri sosSpurs have confirmed that they may play a season away from their White Hart Lane home as the club builds their new 56,250-capacity stadium, which was initially scheduled to open at the start of the 2017/18 campaign. ...
