One thing to observe about Ozil is that apart from his goal and assist is that he is linking up plays at midfield. Even when his performance is below par, he still links well between defender and forwards.

Ekceli I never doubted his ability. Despite a defensive midfielder, he can quickly change to offensive when the team goes forward. I can never forget his passing to RVP and Henry that leads to some of the best goals from Arsenal.

i reckon if ramsey and song can both improve on their work rate, positioning, and defensive astuteness, they can potentially be as good as the vieira-gilberto partnership.
