Game changer for us is definitely gonna be Walcott, no doubt about that.
Hopefully can get his form back la, his finishing was not bad last time. Hoping for the best. No more injuries for him, please. This post has been edited by Rei7: Sep 7 2014, 11:44 AM |

im not sure. i just think that our players are all great players. its just about how wenger wana play them in a way that would get the best out of them.
atm, it doesnt seems like the case. we have too many players that wants to roam freely instead of getting stuck more to their own positional role imo. thats why the gameplay doesnt come smoothly. but just my opinion tho. |

i think the way the team plays depends on the type of striker we have up front. with giroud the midfield has to start and end attacks, because giroud aint gonna run onto through passes. they'll have to constantly move around giroud and anticipate where he's gonna flick the ball to. he's pretty dependable in this situation since he has the strength to hold off defenders and he's been doing the flicks for ages. i want to say we should play more crosses with giroud, but it feels like a long time since i've seen a giroud header.
with welbeck we have a runner, a more traditional forward. the midfield can look to make through passes for him to chase, and make late runs for support to offer him options. having welbeck also allows interchanging between forward players. it's impossible for giroud to change around and play on the flanks, but with welbeck there's a bit of flexibility. |

Rosicky hasn't done that much good either vs big teams in the EPL. If anything, Tommy's numbers in terms of goals and assists are fairly unremarkable. Santi will be the number 10 in Ozil's absence. Meanwhile, didn't realise Puma released this. What a beauty... very tempting. ![]() |

Santi number 10 behind Welbeck, Tomas/ the OX on the left please. Edit: Btw Tomas was superb twice against the Spuds in both really important FA Cup and League (White Hart Lane) games. QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Sep 7 2014, 02:59 PM) I like Tommy but there's a reason he's not first choice anymore. Yeah but isn't one of our first choice an injury doubt? Not implying Tomas/OX to replace Mesut full time, just saying Tomas should be played should Mesut not make it for the City game, which was my reply to the post with the news that Mesut might miss the City game due to injury. And yes, he plays damn well against T'ham. not sure. online ada but expensive. Of course Ozil should start when fit. On his day, the best number 10 in the world besides you don't spend 42 mill on someone and park them on the bench unless you have oil money. Then again its more like hitting a lottery if he turns up with a great performance these days. This post has been edited by sigheart: Sep 7 2014, 03:46 PM |
