What is the market rate now to restring rackets around klang valley these days? Say restring with BG66U.

Its RM27 at Elin Pandan Indah, not sure whether they charge GST now or not. But the maximum I'll pay for it is RM30.

hello guys, i would like to hear some advice from u guys about what Yonex string i can opt for

currently using bg66 25lbs... i prefer offense, sometime play a bit defend.
I only broke my string once time ..... i m not a pro player.

a lot of ppl saying bg80 is quite good, any ppl using this string ?
have to increase 1 or 2 lbs for using more thicker string ?

thicker string will have better control ?

please feel free to offer me some advice.
*
Yes, thicker strings require higher tension in order to get the same feeling. BG80 is a string that has never broken (at least for me). Maybe you can try BG80 at 26lbs. smile.gif

alright, i think i will try bg80 in someday. maybe at 26 lbs or 27.

btw, the thicker strings also require more strength to hit the shuttlecock ? or don't need ?

thank you for ur reply bro notworthy.gif

Ummm.. Thats a tough question. Im not very sure, but I think thinner strings have got better repulsion than thicker strings. Thinner strings also do sound better but the downside is that it snaps quickly especially when you slice the shuttle a lot. smile.gif

o.... i see i see, i have used bg66 ultimax 65mm before, sound really good, but ... tension drop a bit fast. and then switch back to bg66.
now looking to try other string , and so collect some opinion here. hahhaha

sorry har . wanna  ask few more noob noob question.
may i know how do we determine that it is time to up the tension ? shuttlecock out easily (base line) ? and net ball becomes not easy to control ?
*
Its totally up to you. You'll need to restring your racquet for maybe 5 times at different tensions while maintaining the same string thickness to find a tension that suits you. smile.gif
