talking abt RON97, last week i tried 1 full tank but not really feel the different... power, fc, accelerate cant really feel the different...

Try 1 tank not enough geh.

At least 2 or 3 tank then should know the different.

It is a misunderstanding to think that RON97 fuels produce more power than RON92 fuels, even more so with the fact that in reality a higher RON number means the fuel burns less easily! RON refers to the ability of the fuel to resist knocking and nothing else.

Another common minimum RON rating is RON95, but since we do not have RON95 fuel in our market, we have to use RON97 fuel for the engine. These engines normally have higher compression ratios, like the one found in the Satria GTI so it needs higher knock resistance to withstand higher compression.

Sorry, if you know nuts on product's certification, don't talk like an expert. You look like an expert in cyber world just because you have more supporters that have 0 knowledge on this in cyber world.
As said, we write a black and white to secure my income and I produce the cert, and all the quality inside. RON is nothing on petrol's quality. Even what published by Motor trader or paul tan's website also only touches 2%.

Or need to have more aggressive ignition timing along with higher compression pistons etc then only will have the difference in performance?

Cause what I can think of is that those people who stated that they experience more power with 97 is like what you said the knock sensor will detect more resistance to knocking due to 97 and the ECU will advance timing a little more and thus the engine will be able to generate more power?
